We provide comprehensive midwifery care throughout all of
your pregnancy. Care starts whenever you are ready and is concluded at about 6
weeks postpartum. We can provide all
check-ups for both mama and baby during that time.
Education is of utmost importance and we strive to provide
tools, information and resources all throughout your care so that you can make
the right decisions for your family. We stress the importance of nutrition for
growing a healthy baby thus optimizing the chances of a smooth, natural
delivery.
Our prenatal appointments are not rushed. We will take
time to address any questions and concerns that you have. Truly informed choice
is our specialty. During our appointments we spend time discussing the purposes
for the tests, labs and treatments offered but do not bully you in making decisions. We know that you are the best decision maker when it comes to your care.
Fees for Midwifery Services
Birth fees can be expensive and can cost well over $18-22K for a basic vaginal hospital delivery. We strive to keep birth affordable to those seeking individualized and thoughtful care. And although "cheap" can be found sometimes, we believe deeply in the quality of service that we offer and work with parents to offer discounts and payment plans making birth more affordable to the average family.
Your global fee covers prenatal visits, labor, & birth. Extras might include services such as
postpartum and newborn care (both immediate and extended), birth complications, lactation assistance, ultrasounds, labs, birth assistants, rentals, supplements, RhoGAM,
PPH medications, sutures, IV supplies, counseling, home visits, etc. Please discuss these concerns at your consultation.
Average Fee Range: $5500-$6500 TOTAL (after applied Self-Pay and other discounts)
Fees are broken down as follows... $1000 down (non-refundable deposit), $1200 due by 18 wks, $1200 due at by 24 wks, $1200 due by 30 wks, and the remaining balance due on or before 34 wks.
Fees
listed here represent an estimate of what the Self-Pay client should expect to
pay after all discounts have been applied. Some clients, such as repeat
clients, military, etc. may qualify for additional discounts and should
schedule their consultation to discuss. Those seeking reimbursement from
Healthsharing Companies and/or other Insurances may or may not qualify for the same discounts. However, these options are taken
into consideration and can be discussed at your consultation.
On occasion we have been able to provide customized care to certain individuals. These services might include Prenatal Care only, Postpartum Care only or Birth Attendance only. Each custom care "package" is discussed in person, and agreed upon in writing only after an in-depth consultation has taken place. These packages are not common and are not considered authentic midwifery care as the care provided is usually more limited than what a midwife seeks to provide. However, we understand that we live in a fast-paced world where life's circumstances sometimes require a shift from the norm. These individualized services are not a one size fits all, and not everyone qualifies. To find out more and/or to discuss the fees associated with these services please set up a consultation with us by calling us or filling out the form at the bottom of this page.

Breastfeeding can be one of the most emotionally
challenging, yet rewarding experiences a mother ever has the privilege to
accept. And along with the relationship that is built between mother and baby,
your baby will receive the very best, complete nutrition possible.
The need that your new baby has to be breastfed goes far
beyond the excellent nutrition. Your baby needs that time close to you. They
need that touch, that skin-to-skin contact. They need to know that you are
there to protect them. Your baby needs to hear your heartbeat, feel your warmth
and bask in every close moment you give at the breast.
For you, breastfeeding should be a time for rest and
relaxation, a time to take a break from the world around you and just enjoy the
smell, touch and feel of your baby. This time of bonding is an amazing
opportunity for both mother and baby.
It is rewarding to witness the bond grow between a mother
and her baby as their nursing relationship matures. Breastfeeding is
natural...true enough, but learning to breastfeed is something altogether
different. It is my goal to help every new mother succeed at breastfeeding. In
addition to being a midwife, I am certified as a Breastfeeding Counselor
and offer one-on-one counseling and hands-on support to help mothers master
this amazing skill.
Often times getting help early is the key to correcting the
problem quickly. Waiting too long never makes it impossible, but it does make
it much more difficult.
I offer individual consultation and support and appointments
may take place in your home or at my office. This also includes phone support,
texts, and online assistance through video calls, Facebook and/or email.
Time is deducted as it is used and if more time
is needed you can simply purchase an additional 4 hours.
